Our assisted living community is locally-owned, so
our caring staff is always available to residents
and their families. The personal attention from our
staff assures a program virtually impossible to find
any other assisted living community.
Our approach to resident care is nothing short of
progressive. A team of professionals meets with each
new resident and his or her family. The team then
develops an individual care plan to meet the resident's
specific needs.
Services may range from help with simple household
chores to 24-hour-a-day personal care assistance.
Other available services include assistance with taking
medications and help with daily activities such as
bathing, dressing, and grooming.
The care plan is regularly reviewed by the team with
input from the resident and family, ensuring that
the very best personalized care is being provided,
and that each resident has new opportunities for living
as independently as possible.
Residents enjoy the independence of living in their
own private rental apartment. Apartments may be shared
by a spouse or companion. All of our one- and two-bedroom
apartments are bright and cheerful, and may be furnished
to suit each resident's individual taste. Pets are
welcomed.
Home, however, extends beyond one's apartment. the
community's sculptured lawns, lovely flowers and shrubs
and impeccable landscaping and pathways are ideal
for enjoying a leisurely stroll.
One step into our common areas, and you will immediately
be captivated by the ambience. From the warm, intimate
sitting rooms with elegant fireplaces to the community
and private dining rooms and a well-stocked library
with computer and internet access, Tranquillity is
a community anyone would be proud to call home.
We pride ourselves on our holistic approach to care,
nurturing the physical, emotional, spiritual and social
well-being of each resident. Our staff plans a comprehensive
schedule of activities that offers both group programs
and one-on-one interaction from outings and volunteer
services to discussion groups and international programs.
Residents also participate in community activities,
programs, special performances and parties. Also, Tranquillity's
volunteers provide many services that enrich the lives
of residents.
As for companionship, our residents soon find themselves
in the company of many friends; people from almost
every walk of life, from all over the country. They
are interesting people who come to know and care about
you. Residents feel as though they've joined a big,
wonderful family.
